If you're unsure of a purchase reach out to us first! Returning greenhouse supplies tends to be costly and impractical.

Shipping and handling often bulky or heavy greenhouse supplies and equipment takes resources. For this reason we encourage you to reach out to knowledgeable staff before making purchases to confirm the suitability of item purchases should you have any doubts. We realize some situations call for returns. Read below for our return policy.

Returns Withing 30 Days

If within 30 days you can return most new, unopened, unused products for a full refund minus shipping charges. Customer is responsible for return shipping costs and condition including any damage sustained during return shipping or complications with shipping agents. Pack the item well!

RMA: An RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) must be requested prior to return for tracking purposes.

Returns After 30 Days

Beyond 30 days if the item is new, unopened, and unused, Hortitech Direct staff will review the product upon receipt and may issue a credit with a 20% restocking fee. Customer is responsible for return shipping costs and condition including any damage sustained during return shipping or complications with shipping agents. Pack the item well!

Defective Product Returns Before 30 Days

If you have received a defective product and are within 30 days of purchase we will issue a return or exchange the defective product.

Defective Product Returns After 30 Days

Beyond 30 days Hortitech Direct will review the product upon receipt and issue store credit. Customer is responsible for return shipping. If the item is determined defective after receipt return shipping will be refunded.

Return Policy Details

If an item is damaged due to shipping and you notice while inspecting prior to accepting the shipment, simply refuse the shipment for the fastest resolution. This drastically speeds up the insurance process with the carrier. If you accept a delivery and notice damage likely due to transport take photos of the package and get in touch with us for an RMA.

You Must Obtain an RMA for All Returns!

A return merchandise authorization must be obtained prior to returning any purchases regardless of the reason of return.

Non-Returnable Products

Custom products are non-returnable. Custom greenhouses are made to order. Once the steel is cut you are committed to your purchase. Heater manufacturers generally do not accept returns. Please carefully inspect heaters before accepting shipments. If you have any questions we're happy to help.

Refuse Defective Merchandise!

It is the customer's responsibility to inspect the merchandise before accepting delivery. If a shipment shows any sign of damage simply refuse the damaged looking parcels. This greatly speeds up the replacement process.

Drop Shipments and Returns

Some of our products are drop shipped directly to you from the manufacturer to dramatically reduce shipping costs. Drop shipped products are subject to manufacturer specific return policies which may include restocking fees and require you to pay return shipping. Some do not accept returns.
